Regular dental check-ups let our dentists spot and treat problems early — from decay to gum disease and oral-health concerns. Most adults are seen every 6–12 months.

Regular check-ups are the simplest way to keep your teeth and gums healthy and to catch problems early, while they’re still easy to treat. At Dalton Dental Care on Doncaster Road, your dentist examines your teeth, gums and soft tissues, and takes X-rays where needed. A routine examination falls under NHS Band 1 (£27.90).
Most adults are seen every six to twelve months, depending on their dental health; children and higher-risk patients may be recommended more often. Sticking to regular visits means we can head off decay and gum disease before they become uncomfortable or costly.
We’re a handy option for families across Dalton, East Herringthorpe, Herringthorpe and the wider north-east side of Rotherham, with buses running along the A630 Doncaster Road.

Band 1 covers: Check-up, diagnosis, X-rays, scale & polish. Whatever treatment you receive within a single band, you pay just one charge per course of treatment.
